Block matching game
This simple block-play is great for building your child's mathematical thinking skills

What you'll need:

2 sets of 4-6 identical blocks. Lego or Duplo work well, but any construction set is suitable.
What to do:
- Using one set of the blocks, create a small structure and present it to your child to copy.
- Once the child has completed it, have them make something for you to then copy.
- Increase the challenge by building behind a barrier and using positional language (next to, beside, above, on top of) to guide your child to build their copy.
- Increase the amount of blocks in each set for even more of a challenge!
