- A small handheld basket
- A park, garden or nature strip
- Non-toxic glue or glue sticks
- Paper or cardboard
What to do:
- Head out on a nature walk and collect interesting finds in a basket. Notice the sights, sounds, smells and touch.
- Set up a table with the basket, glue and paper, all within reach
- Encourage your child to study the shape, texture and colour of the leaves as they glue
- Younger children will need reminders to glue first and then stick
