What to do:

  1. Print a copy of the scavenger hunt and grab a pencil
  2. Create your rules - for example, start with finding 5 items in 5 minutes.
  3. Get hunting!

Tip

  • For children who aren’t used to playing independently, you could break the hunt down and give them 1 or 2 of the items to locate at a time.
  • Families can have the sheet up on the fridge to refer back to throughout the day, almost like 'bingo.'
  • It may be beneficial to spend time noticing and talking about each object and challenge with your child.
